This Game Description:

This traditional classic game is recognizable by its interlocking grid of squares. The game’s goal is to fill the white squares with letters, forming words, by solving clues which lead to the answers. Clues that are divided by Down and Across are displayed below the game board. Many common letters on the board are arranged horizontally or vertically so that most letters form part of two words.
